mumbalance – green family blog focuses on green, veggie and natural family life. As a family we are on a path to green-up our lives, making gradual changes to our lifestyle, and encouraging my readers to do the same. The non-disposables series and The Green Shopper series are great resources for anyone who wants to go green, but doesn’t know where to start.
I also write about our travels – including camping – and importance of making kids fall in love with nature, so when they are older they will want to protect it. In my quest for balanced life I enlist help of ancient techniques like yoga and Qigong, and common sense methods like taking a deep breath and going for a walk.

Brands I have worked with
I only work with brands, which can be a part of a green lifestyle. Here’s a few brands I have worked with recently and their testimonials:
”Joanne did a review of our new plastic free Made Sustained bottles and Re-Sack reusable fruit & vegetable bags. It was our first blog review in UK and we were glad it was Joanne. Joanne is a professional blogger who enters her word! Quick communication and a honest approach. Hope she has many good moments with the insulated bottle and Re-Sacks!”
”Joanna worked with us in Spring 2015 on a review of one of our self-catering cottages in the Forest of Dean. She was a pleasure to work with- her posts about the holiday were well-written, honest and informative with good quality photos. We were delighted with the final result and were so pleased that she enjoyed her time at the cottage. ”
”Joanna worked with seriouslysillysocks.com to spread awareness of who we are and attract her followers to visit our on-line store and our social media pages. She certainly has a dedicated following and the effect of her blogging was immediately evident. This led me to conclude after a couple of bad experiences with bloggers that firstly Joanna is someone I can trust, (she did what she said she would when she said she would and in a professional manner that enhanced my business); and that secondly we will work together again and subsequently we’ve put something in the diary to that effect.”
”Joanna from Mum in Search of Balance was wonderful to work with & very communicative. I love that she stands for all things Green & she’s making the world a better place. She hosted a giveaway for one of my healing bracelets & the turnout was wonderful! We got lots of entries & a great response. Her blogging style is fresh & very informative. The giveaway lasted a couple weeks & the winner was thrilled! I would definitely work with Mum in Search of Balance again & recommend her site to any of my friends!”
